Southwest Tower of “Minorenni”

Erected in the Norman Period, the Southwest tower is known as “Minorenni” because between the 1832 and the 1931 housed a juvenile detention center. The top of the tower, as visible in the picture, was rebuilt in 1696, after a collapse caused by a lighting.
